Paulo Alves pays tribute to Tarsila do Amaral at CASACOR Miami

Banana trees and a red jute rug transform the elevator hall into an art and design gallery. Paulo Alves presents the essence of Brazilian roots at Tarsila Hall - copyright © Tarsila Empreendimentos, his project for CASACOR Miami 2017 . The designer's style blends with Tarsila do Amaral's modernist paintings in a project of bright colors and Brazilian identity . The walls received exclusive tapestries of some of the artist's most famous works. "There is a lot of Brazilian landscape in her work - not just the topography, but also the vegetation", says Paulo. Together with Hugo França, the designer created organic furniture made from recovered yellow pequi tree trunks and certified Amazonian wood.
