Works of art invade CASACOR Pará 2015

Of the 33 rooms at CASA COR Pará 2015 , most have works of art. From very fine wooden sculptures to iron sculptures and canvases made especially for the show, everything tells a story carried by the piece itself. When Ricardo Garcia and Roberta Vieitas were invited by Arnaldo Ribeiro Jr. to create Gourmet Social , they already had in mind the colors they would use for the project and were also certain that they wanted something by the artist Cíntia Ramos. Inspired by the first map of Brazil where macaws are drawn, they believed that bringing one of the greatest symbols of Brazilian fauna to the space would be interesting. And so it was: a 6 m canvas beautifully dominates one of the walls of the space. Harianne Bragah and Liliane Ferri, with their Taberna do Vinho, also called on the artist to decorate their space. “I’m in love with Cintia’s work, I think she conveys emotion on her canvases and the visitor feels it,” explains Liliane. The result is a canvas measuring over 3 m long that makes the space even more cozy.

The Art Gallery has left visitors enchanted. The project by partners Kenny Nogueira and Talita Leandro covers an area of over 90 m² and features over 42 pieces, including paintings, sculptures and photographs produced by artist Hércules Jr., who maintains the correlation between the 1980s and the modernity of the 21st century. For the exhibition, the artist created more defined compositions in various sizes, addressing the theme of the exhibition itself: the Amazon, the vegetation of Pará, and precious stones such as sapphires, rubies and emeralds. In addition to these works, Hércules' paintings can also be seen in the Varanda Lounge Bar by architect Lívia Santana and in the Living Room of Casa de Campo by Alam Freitas and Bertrand Tenório. Another artist present at the exhibition is Paulo Azevedo. He created the paintings in Vanessa Martins's space, Casa da Praia , and also brings charm to Rebeca de França's Room . The aged and twisted iron work on one of the walls has won over visitors to the exhibition. Architect Melania Monteiro's classic style is imprinted in her Brasil Urbano. In the almost 80 m² space, it is possible to identify leather, fabric, wood, porcelain and crystals. The space's color point is the trio of Tiffany armchairs that present the colorful works of Alberto Nicolau from Pará.
