Readers of fashion magazines always follow the work of a special photographer, who always brings something unusual and surprising to the editorials that appear on the pages and color the paper. Tim Walker is a professional born in England, but who spent his entire career traveling around London and New York as
a freelancer , until he returned to his home country and established himself in the fashion world, portraying and filming
British, Italian and American editions of magazines such as W Magazine and LOVE . The photographer's success is so great that many of his surrealist works, even old ones, continue to resonate on social networks. And one of them is the editorial "
Magical Thinking ", for the March 2012 issue of W Magazine. "
This "It's not a dream, but rather the most ethereal spring fashion fit for a fairy tale," Walker explains of the shoot, which depicts the great wave of Kanagawa. The photos were also produced by stylist Jacob K and brought together the models Asians Asia Chow, Liu Wen and Xiao Wen. Everything was photographed in two stages. The incredibly beautiful cherry blossoms were designed by fashion designer Shona Heath . "I love the proportions between the vase and the branches," said Jacob K. Shona also created a dragon spewing flames that makes the work impressive and , really, magical. To check out the full essay,
