What you can't miss at the 10th Berlin Biennale
The tenth edition of the Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art will be held at various locations throughout the city and will bring together various artistic movements and styles. The event is an important global forum and a platform to discover young talents, set against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. The art exhibitions will take place between June 9 and September 9 at key locations in Berlin. Building house One of the city's most popular creative and design hubs is the Aufbau Haus. It is home to some of the most important companies in the publishing and design industry, as well as the theatre company TAK (Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg). There are also 50 other partners from the country's most creative sectors: from the pop culture anthem Metrolit to Berlin's Extra Tapete, with its limited edition wallpaper collections. A minimalist shop, a restaurant, a café, a bookstore and Imago 1:1, the world's only self-portrait camera that you can walk into, round off the offering. The Create Berlin network is also based in the Aufbau Haus. The Bauhaus Archive and Design Museum in Berlin The Bauhaus Archive and Design Museum in Berlin houses the world’s largest collection of Bauhaus materials and is a must-see for all design enthusiasts. The exterior of the building, designed by Walter Gropius, is also a masterpiece of avant-garde architecture that houses the permanent exhibition of the Bauhaus collection. Following the recent renovation to prepare for its centenary in 2019, it presents around 80 new acquisitions, as well as a series of temporary exhibitions. Bröhan Museum
