The event aims to bring together brands, galleries, international exhibitions and the new generation of national design, in addition to a daily schedule of talks with the participation of big names in the segment. The new feature of this edition is the new concept called
Paper MADE - a space where paper is the creative support for all artists. In addition, the fair has entered into an unprecedented partnership with Adorno Design Platform, a new Danish e-commerce portal dedicated to collectible design, which will exclusively bring the designers' pieces to the world. Finally, the
MADE Innovation Award was also created, another important step towards recognizing original design, which will award the three best products of 2016, with a trophy designed by Marcelo Rosembaum (voted designer of the year 2015). To this end, the choice will be made by the jury of the MADE Advisory Board, formed by Maria Helena Estrada, Cláudia Moreira Salles, Marcio Kogan, Jorn Konijn and the new members Mauricio Eugênio and Corinna Sagesser, in addition to the curators of the fair Waldick Jatobá and Bruno Simões.
