Starting today (19/02), the Hideo Kobayashi Gallery, at the Usiminas Cultural Center , presents the Exhibition “Lorenzato – 120 years of an artist and sniper” . The exhibition, composed of works from the collection of gallery owner Manoel Macedo and from Usiminas, will be on display until May 2nd, with free admission. The public will be able to see 78 works, including paintings, cement and paper drawings and watercolors, which show all the phases and techniques that represent Lorenzato 's career. In the case of the works in this collection, this is the first time that they have been exhibited to the general public.
Lorenzato 's drawings and paintings explore themes and allegories ranging from portraits to landscapes, with unique color combinations and brushstrokes. Finishing is a hallmark of his work, the use of a comb on the canvas gives movement and texture to the works.
