Michael Pinsky's work reproduces, in a safe simulation, the pollution of five cities around the world

The domes are safe to breathe and walk in, unlike cities like New Delhi, where more than half of children suffer from stunted lung development. Around the world, particularly in the East, the release of toxic gases is increasing the rate of global warming and has a direct effect on our health. This fact is the inspiration for Michael Pinsky's creation, a space where the fog and the smell of poisoned air are not obscured by beautiful views. 
Each of the five connected geodesic domes in this installation has its own smoke cocktail, just like every city on our planet. Carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, and harmful chemicals cover the skyscrapers and penetrate our lungs.
