The facade of CASA COR Brasília will be graffitied by the winner of the competition

The final stage of the highly anticipated graffiti contest of CASA COR Brasília 2015 will take place this Saturday (22/08), from 12pm to 5pm, at CasaPark. Encontro Urbano – a partnership between the show and the Secretariat of State for Labor and Entrepreneurship (Setrab) of the Federal District – will give the winner the event's façade to be graffitied. The ten artists chosen for the final will paint graffiti on panels installed in the CasaPark parking lot, starting at 12:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m., the jury, made up of architects and representatives of the exhibition, will choose the winning artist. “CasaPark, as the main center for the commercialization and dissemination of design in the Central-West, plays an important role in encouraging and promoting the work carried out by the city’s artists,” explains Ivana Valença, executive director of CasaPark.

The aim of the competition is to develop and recognize graffiti art in the region, as well as support artistic expressions that challenge the production of projects inspired by the city.
