Empório Vermeil launches collection in which leftover materials become works of art

During MADE , which took place in the 2nd edition of the CASA COR Arte & Design circuit, several brands and designers launched their new collections and pieces. Among them, Vermeil and Empório Vermeil were present with their participation.

Vermeil presented furniture designed by designers such as Fábio Stal and João Pedrosa, which had minimalist and luxurious characteristics, produced in rare woods. The pieces were the Chaise Afrique, the Cinta Desk and the Indian Summer Cabinet.

But the highlight was the partnership that Empório Vermeil established with the Rio de Janeiro duo Pedro Moog and Leonardo Lattavo, from Lattoog. Together, they launched the “Resíduos Processuais” collection, a limited series of paintings with “leftover materials” used in the development of prototypes and pieces by designers. Produced with their own characteristics, each painting becomes a unique and exclusive piece.
