Inspired by art curator Eduardo Fernandes, Marília Veiga created a sophisticated and timeless space to exhibit works and also receive guests. In 100
m² , the designer transformed a gallery, living room and curation room into a place rich in contemporary references worthy of the home of a professional, the
Art Curator's Studio , at
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 .
At the entrance to the space, a corridor houses an installation of nude art by the artist Luciana Crepaldi. The series, called As Graças, was also presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona. The gallery ends in a common area where shades of blue and gray play with the lighting designed to enhance the pieces.
The space reserved for curation has a large table and CAD chairs designed by designer Fábio Stal for Vermeil. The space serves as a support room for meetings, to exhibit works and to catalog files.
To make the space even more welcoming, furniture complements the scene, such as the Replay sofa in solid wood and aged stainless steel trim, a dynamic and versatile piece for seating. The backlit three-dimensional bookcase, which seems to come out of the wall, gives movement to the set and is one of the highlights of the space.
