André Carício designed Galeria da Imagem, an environment filled with art from Pernambuco that values the state's culture and design

The architect from Pernambuco, André Carício, debuted at CASA COR São Paulo 2016 with a space full of art and sophistication. The Image Gallery was a 22 m long circulation space that had a concept that went far beyond a simple corridor.
André exhibited works of art, most of them black and white photographs, by artists from Pernambuco to highlight and value the state's culture and design.
A large wooden sculpture measuring almost 4 m in height by Marcelo Silveira was also placed there and was one of the highlights of the Gallery.
The ceiling and lighting were decorated with suede panels with designs by the architect himself and were created to draw the viewer's attention. Designer pieces were placed to complement the space, such as the Carício Buffet and the "six" Wall Light, both also designed by the professional. .
