CASACOR SP 2018 artistic installations that evoke sensory design

Two art installations are part of the São Paulo exhibition circuit and are open to the public to immerse themselves in these sensory experiences

Architecture, design, art, sustainability and landscaping come together to provide visitors with the best CASACOR experience. The main concern of the show is always to take the public's breath away, awakening sensations, emotions and senses in those who attend and are event lovers. In addition, Of the 81 spaces, attractions and activities that complement the show's agenda, two installations are presented to pique people's curiosity and bring something new to the circuit. One of them, designed by Rodrigo Ambrosio for Comgás, presents in a playful way , the safety of using natural gas at home. The other is the result of a partnership between Cristiane Bomeny, designer Claúdia de Thuin and the Geraluz Team, and brings a sensory experience of health and well-being.

Natural gas has been known to mankind since ancient times and was naturally expelled to the surface by Persian, Babylonian and Greek peoples. However, there are still those who are wary of using it indoors. Therefore, in a playful way and aesthetics, Rodrigo Ambrosio and Comgás come together to illustrate the safety and comfort that the fluid provides.

The Casa Encanada is an installation made up of copper pipes and connections, normally used by Comgás, which show how they work in a transparent and clear way. In this space, 365 points of light simulate a perfect flame, which is created through the exposed pipes and visible to visitors, reflecting the safety and care of natural gas combined with the practicality and functionality of a home.

Health and well-being is another maxim and focus of one of CASACOR São Paulo 's facilities. The structure, composed of two mirrored hexagons, was created through a partnership between designer Claúdia De Thuin and the Geraluz team, in addition to all supervision, concept and Created by Cristiane Bomeny and promoted by D&D Shopping, the group presents, for the first time to visitors of the exhibition, the Geraluz Meditation POD , which promises to take the public to a meditative state, even for those who have difficulty disconnecting from the world.

According to the project concept, the installation stimulates brain waves by causing the electrical activity of neurons to synchronize with the pulse of external stimuli. The Geraluz Meditation POD activates brain waves through hertz frequency images projected across all the walls. of the sensory structure, as well as sounds dissipated in space. The combination of everything takes the viewer to a calm state, letting the mind wander and stimulating different areas of the brain, which generates surprising benefits, both for the body and for the psyche.
