Wallpaper* holds an awards ceremony to select the projects, places and people that stood out the most during the season. Six renowned judges were responsible for the 2020 edition of the Wallpaper* Design Awards, including Solange, Daniel Lee, Pierre Yovanovitch, Liz Diller, Alex Israel and Adrian Cheng.
In the design category,
Nemo came out on top with the NEO lamp. The innovative curved steel structure was designed by
Bernhard Osann , who revealed that he was inspired by the "sculptural and kinetic structure of articulated arms". The aesthetics of the piece are reduced to a few precise lines, resulting in a lamp that is "timeless, graphic in appearance, characterized by its flexibility".
