Steel and Wood Frame: sustainable construction bets at CASACOR
Sustainability is one of the main pillars that guide CASACOR . For the event, it is very important that projects care about the environment and create more and more eco-friendly spaces. This year, dry constructions with wood frames and steel frames stood out at the event. Get to know them:

Wood Frame

The wood frame , a construction system that mainly uses reforested wood panels, is very popular in the United States. This construction reduces material waste, water consumption and the amount of waste generated from the work. Furthermore, it is a very quick construction. Casa Grigio , from CASACOR Santa Catarina 2018, opted for this method:

The construction stands out without harming the environment, through the dry construction guaranteed by the Steel Frame. Reclaimed wood and marble tops make up the rest of the structure. The Writer's House - Bergamo Jewel, at CASACOR São Paulo 2018. Thinking about sustainability and the project's execution time, the professional chose to use Steel Frame, with cement boards - which also guarantee thermal and acoustic insulation. The construction of the house was quick, dry and generated little waste. After the exhibition was dismantled, all the steel material was reused and directed to other projects.
