Natura's Vice President of Operations and Logistics, Josie Peressinoto Romero, says the facility is a front in the fight against climate change. "In addition to seeking energy efficiency, the facility produces clean energy. OPV technology has the lowest impact possible, it dialogues with our values and reflects our commitment to sustainability”. It is estimated that the energy generated by the OPV will help prevent the annual emission of 37 tons of carbon dioxide – the equivalent of the consumption of 459 homes in Brazil in one month.
