“By joining together long pieces of cedar and larch, we added rhythmic variation to the ceiling and wall. The space was further enlivened by light passing through the ceiling like komorebi, or light filtering through trees in a forest.” Furthermore, through the windows it is possible to see bushes and trees planted around the building.
