Brazilian projects are among the six finalists of the 2018 edition of the Mies Crown Hall America Prize (MCHAP)

The Brazilian projects of IMS Paulista, designed by Andrade Morettin Arquitetos Associados, and Sesc 24 de Maio, by Paulo Mendes da Rocha and MMBB Arquitetos, were among the six finalists of the 2018 edition of the Mies Crown Hall America Prize (MCHAP). The nominations were announced by Director Dirk Denison and MCHAP Jury Chair Ricky Burdett. The projects were selected from a list of 31 and will compete for the grand prize, which will be announced in October. The winning authors will receive $50,000 to fund research and a publication, in addition to being recognized as Honorary Chairs of MCHAP at the IIT School of Architecture.
