As an extension of the already renowned Hotel Fasano in Punta del Este, Uruguay,
Locanda Fasano is a space for guests to experience, with
2,500 square meters of built area. The project includes
10 suites and apartments built on a single building. , which connects through a suspended volume to the iconic Fasano Restaurant.
The project is headed by architects
Carolina Proto ,
Fernanda Schuch and
Juliana Bassani Lamachia from
Estúdio Obra Prima , which has offices in Uruguay and Brazil. The firm also participated in the execution of the Fasano Las Piedras hotel project, designed by architect Isay Weinfeld. in 2010.
In addition to the suites and apartments, the Locanda also houses a leisure area with an incredible view – as it is located at the
highest point of the development in the La Barra region . Inserted in the beautiful local landscape, it offers one of the most privileged views in the region, the space brings together a solarium, lounge, bar and private pool; all integrated into the same common area, allowing guests to
enjoy different services in the same place .
Integrated into the building's restaurant, the extension of the main building uses
essentially natural materials in its architecture, such as wood and iron, as well as stones and plants in the decoration, as a way of
respecting and revering the abundant local nature .
