Burberry , the iconic British luxury brand, has opened its flagship store in London at 121 Regent Street. The store has been completely redesigned in line with Ricardo Tisci's collection for the brand, and held its first show on Monday at 1pm Brasília time - or 5pm London time.

Italian fashion designer Riccardo has transformed the store with individually themed rooms that collectively celebrate Burberry ’s past and future through the products on display.

The building that houses the store was originally a theater. Each room is inspired by this story and is decorated with draped curtains and thick carpet on the floors. The colors are inspired by the brand’s renowned trench coats and range from sand to honey, with hints of light pink and pistachio. The wooden light fixtures contrast with the rest of the space and create a more intimate atmosphere.

This will be the only physical store in the world where the debut collection will be available to purchase immediately, half an hour after the show. It is also the first in a series of capsule collections, which will be available for just 24 hours. The limited collection, featuring both men’s and women’s designs, will also be available on Instagram and WeChat in select countries.
