A ground survey conducted by architecture students in Iran has been attracting attention from professionals interested in sustainable projects and digital architecture . From the space offered, they appropriated buildings that had been forgotten for a long time.
This is how the group of students combined technology and modern elements to bring traditional Iranian architecture into a more contemporary style . Middle Eastern manufacturing techniques were used to build a place that stands out among modern buildings. The project draws attention in different aspects - from the choice of materials to the texture and colors chosen for the composition . The external face with non-geometric concrete and rough texture is neutral in color (gray) and the internal face has bricks as the main material. "We chose triangular geometry on the inner side because the triangle is a sample of knowledge and brilliance. In addition, the triangle is the most regular shape in geometric shapes. On the other hand, executing complicated freeform shapes with triangular geometry, in addition to making it easier to adapt , generates the least amount of waste in bricks", says the group of architects.

The Kooshk research pavilion was built to revive traditional construction techniques and Middle Eastern architecture in an innovative way. To achieve this, science and technology were combined to create computer models and manufacturing processes to facilitate the architects' routine. The project required many interdisciplinary theoretical and field studies, which include morphology, ecology, traditional Middle Eastern architectural techniques and combining them with more modern surface structure techniques.
