Integrated and industrial spaces in the Estúdio Penha project
Integrating internal and external spaces and opting for an industrial style to create a comfortable atmosphere in harmony with nature was the challenge that Estúdio Penha faced in the design of a house located in Alto da Boa Vista, in São Paulo.

The 535 m² house became even more spacious with the addition of glass coverings that leave the outside exposed and also make the most of the natural light . In addition to the walls, a sloping roof allowed the sun to enter the rooms , bringing more light and freshness to the spaces.

If previously integrating environments was associated with projects with reduced footage , today it has become a real trend that allows greater circulation and fluidity in the space.

One example of this was the experts' choice to use the walls and create a dining room integrated into the living room . This way, the residents (two children and their father) can have lunch and watch television together or even receive guests in a more cozy manner.

The double-height ceiling gives you the opportunity to let your creativity run wild. Here, the upper space was used to create a walkway that leads to the bedrooms , completely customized and with a strong industrial style in its composition.

The rooms have a more minimalist and natural design, with wooden ceilings and floors and a large window that allows for better use of the sunlight . Even so, the industrial atmosphere is present in the bricks on the walls , the light fixtures and the metal pipes that insulate the wiring.

The kitchen was designed to create a collaborative and spacious environment in which more than one person is able to cook.
In the center, a marble island serves as a support for both those who will cook and those who are keeping company, and is made up of two stools for better seating.

The large bathroom was very well used. Shades of green and white give the place a calm and cozy feeling and highlight the transparent shower enclosure with black partitions and front opening.

And the bathroom is not far behind. The choice of a different covering with flowers that go from the floor to the wall creates a feeling of spaciousness in the space - which is smaller compared to other environments. In addition, the pattern is super delicate and looks beautiful in the decoration. Still in the bathroom, wood was used to create a retro and unusual atmosphere.

The pool was one of the client's requirements in the briefing, and for the joy of the little ones and also for comfort on hotter days, it was incorporated into the outdoor area. Right in front, a table with chairs allows visitors to sit and keep an eye on the pool. A true leisure area .

The famous "less is more" is present in this small area which, with few pieces of furniture and elements, managed to create a harmonious and stylish composition. Going a little deeper into the area where the pool is located, a relaxation area has been created for the residents. With cozy stools and sofas, the earth tones bring a sense of calm to the space.
