CASACOR Rio occupied Casa Rosa, a 1938 building in an eclectic style, with a 5,000 m² plot of land and 1,000 m² of built area, belonging to the Rocha Miranda family, who lived there for almost 40 years, hosting friends at major celebrations. Although extremely traditional, the house served as the basis for projects that express the current style of living of Rio residents, with solutions tailored to real life – concerns such as reduced spaces, sustainability and practicality are the order of the day.

To revitalize the residence, the paint brand Coral, an official partner of the show, created an exclusive color for the event. To prepare the special shade, called “Rosa da Casa”, the brand considered the tradition and identity of the mansion and added a touch of modernity. The result was a pinkish tone that contrasts with the green of the garden.

[galeria-abril id='26024' type='slider'] In its 26th edition, CASACOR Rio will occupy the “Casa Rosa”, as it is known in Gávea. A 1938 building in an eclectic style, with 5,000 m² of land and 1,000 m² of built area, belonging to the Rocha Miranda family, who lived there for almost 40 years, receiving friends at large celebrations. From October 11th to November 20th, the party will be about architecture, design and landscaping. The new hosts are 67 of Rio's best professionals, who create 45 environments, both indoor and outdoor - taking advantage of the huge garden designed by Burle Marx and bucolic corners such as the lake and fountain. One of the big news will be the return to a residence that will take place after the exhibition has visited places as diverse as the stands of the Jockey Club, the Modesto Leal and Linneo de Paula Machado palaces, the building of the former Hotel Sete de Setembro and the entire Villa Aymore. “The properties are an attraction in themselves, which makes the Rio edition, each year, always unique”, says Patrícia Mayer. “In a house like this we have a more real dimension of the architects' solutions, as the environments, despite the grandeur of the house, are no exception to reality and can serve as inspiration for everyone who visits CASACOR Rio ”, adds Patrícia Quentel. The two, partners at 3Plus, have been the 'owners of the house' for 26 years. CASACOR 's first franchise, the Rio edition is the longest running event organized by the same duo. About the mansion:
