Belgian company
MIA Arquitetura has completed its own office in Beaufays, a municipality near Liège, Belgium, according to the
Designboom portal. The project consists of a mirror-clad space that houses the architectural office and a meeting room.

Raised on a painted brick base, which provides space for a parked car, the structure is embedded in the grounds of an existing house that was built in the 1970s.
The office is covered in reflective skin that allows you to disappear into nature. “Thanks to the high reflective capacity of this coating, the new building literally merges into the site,” says
MIA Arquitetura. "In an almost surreal way, the large square bay of the office gives the impression, from the garden, of an immersion in the interior space, through a notch in the vegetation placed on a brick base."

Access is via a metal ramp that leads to a wooden door. Inside, the large window allows employees to immerse themselves in the bucolic environment. The building was built with a wooden structure, and is insulated to ensure energy efficiency.

As the construction methods used were simple, the office was built in approximately three months.
