Almost simultaneously with its creation, Studio Ro+Ca made its first appearance at the
CASACOR exhibitions. This exhibition, which took place in 2014, brought the architects' uncluttered vision to
Hashtag_Room , a technological living room inspired by the urban landscape. Since then, the duo has returned to the
Rio de Janeiro exhibition every year since. In their last participation, in 2019, the architects brought to life a welcoming terrace overlooking Guanabara Bay. This year, they also made their debut at the exhibition in
São Paulo , with
Casa Berilo Leroy Merlin , where the geometrical vinyl flooring created an interesting high-low, balancing affordable materials and designer pieces. Investing in geometric patterns is one of the characteristics that distinguish the studio. Its experience focuses on young and cool living, where the eye is drawn to surprising graphics that completely redefine a space. Another trait of the architect duo is the mix of materials — sometimes marked by wood, other times by cement — and textures, which propose a sensory experience and stimulate touch. These dualities create an engaging visual game, with a lot of attitude, which is the studio's identity.[newsletter]
