Did you know? That the entire architecture of the Jockey Club of São Paulo is listed as a historical heritage site? Therefore, with each edition, CASACOR , through sustainable actions, takes all necessary care to avoid damaging the original structure of the facilities. Professionals receive a briefing with instructions on good practices and strictly follow the guidelines for preserving the Jockey Club and its surroundings. Now, see the care that architect Marcos Caracho took when designing his space for CASACOR São Paulo . In charge of the Bar environment this year, Marcos Caracho, to avoid drilling the pillars and damaging the original tile covering of the place, chose to cover these structures with steel tubes and MDF sheets. "This way, we created a structure that makes installation and subsequent disassembly easier, and can receive holes without damage", explains the architect. The strategy for the floor was similar. "We were concerned about the integrity of the existing Portuguese mosaic covering. To avoid having to interfere with it, we used a structure of wooden beams that were only supported by the original floor, without any holes," he adds. In addition to taking care not to damage the original structure, sustainable actions also mark the architect's space. "The organization and cleanliness of the construction site, as well as the correct disposal of materials, are part of this concern. The flooring, for example, is made of certified reforested wood, and all the finishes we use, such as varnishes and sealers, are water-based," says Caracho. WHEN?
