CASACOR Rio de Janeiro always surprises its visitors with the places chosen to house the exhibition spaces. This 28th edition will be no different. This year, the event comes with a big novelty, and not only because of the building that will be the headquarters, but also because of the also the region in which it is located.
The place chosen to host the largest and most complete exhibition of architecture, design and landscaping in the Americas was the AQWA Corporate, with its bold architecture, designed by Fostner + Partners, Norman Foster's office, and executed by Tishman Speyer. The project is The only one in Brazil signed by the office, it is located in Porto and has Leed Gold certification in sustainability.
The exhibition will occupy approximately 10,000
m2 of the building, with various spaces and lofts showcasing the ways of living and working in this region, which is following the global trend of occupying historic centers. In addition, the super modern and innovative building has a Breathtaking view of Guanabara Bay,
the mountains with Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.
