Architect Alex Bonilha is responsible for the modernization and restoration of a house in Arujá, in the interior of São Paulo. With a total area of 584 m², the property belongs to a family of a couple and three adult children, all living in the capital of São Paulo, who intend to use the residence for leisure. The goal was to make the project spacious and functional, making the most of its spaces while still maintaining a clean appearance.
The spacious structure was designed to accommodate many family members and friends, in order to facilitate group activities such as parties, barbecues, games, and saunas. To accommodate a larger number of people, the project prioritized flexible and modular furniture, which allowed for different reconfigurations and offered a larger number of seats. Espaço SER , in which he sought to rescue human relationships in a 60
m² living room. Inspired by the pillars that structure harmonious living, the space was based on affective memory as an object of interest in design.[newsletter]
