CASA COR Minas Gerais 2016, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Architects, will hold a large gathering of professionals to celebrate the Pampulha Modern Ensemble being declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The event will take place on September 3. , at the Iate Tênis Clube, which is part of the complex.
In keeping with the celebratory atmosphere, the chosen attraction to liven up the night is the Magnólia Jazz Band, with its incredible Bloco Magnólia, one of the sensations of the effervescent Belo Horizonte carnival. DJs Bittencourt and Andy Molinari have also confirmed their presence to liven up the night!
The Salão Portinari at the Iate Tênis Clube will have a special scenography by Objeto Design to become a meeting point for architects of all generations. The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased online.
In addition, at the exhibition, the Greco Design office, headed by Gustavo Greco, who was responsible for the visual identity of the complex, will also create an environment in homage to the Complex. It is a corridor that will connect the coworking space with the bar, leading the public to an open space overlooking Pampulha Lagoon. An installation built with tiles designed by Greco in partnership with Terratile is part of the tribute to the complex, which will feature engaging graphics full of identity.
