A set of mirrored cabins nestled in the
woods of Ontario, Canada . Called Arcana, they are being developed by
architecture firmLeckie Studio and design agency Aruliden. Quite secluded, the cabins will be a tourism option for people who want a more intimate experience of contact with the environment. As part of the experience, the exact location of the cabins is a secret, only revealed to guests after their reservation is confirmed.
They were designed to
blend in with nature and also have
sustainable actions to maintain the integrity of the species , especially birds. The cabins were created in wood covered by a polished stainless steel structure, which reflects the environment in a slightly distorted way, which prevents birds from accidentally colliding with the mirrored exterior of the cabin.
The interior of the room is lined with pine wood, with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow a stunning view of the outside.
The cabins have electricity and running water. Despite their small size, they have everything a person or couple needs for a pleasant stay,
including a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, private deck and barbecue .
Construction of the cabins is scheduled to begin this year. Guests will be able to access the cabins with a contactless check-in to ensure safety during this sensitive time. Source: Dezeen
