23rd Feicon Batimat combines innovation and sustainability

How can sustainable solutions and low environmental impact be integrated into construction processes? This question is answered with innovative ideas at the 23rd Feicon Batimat , the International Construction and Architecture Fair. The event brought together more than 1,400 national and international brands, divided into 18 categories, such as Electrical and Lighting, Coatings and other areas. Energy efficiency, water conservation, reuse of materials and minimal waste are increasingly on the agenda. Model House

CASA MODELO - Ela é construída em alvenaria armada com blocos estruturais cerâmicos em apenas cinco dias. Além da rapidez, tem baixo custo - cerca de R$ 1 mil o metro quadrado. (Luciana Andrade)

With 48 m² and two bedrooms, it was built using reinforced masonry with structural ceramic blocks in just five days. It aims to provide low-income families with comfort and accessibility, without compromising on environmental care, by incorporating technologies that save water and electricity. Sustainable Architecture Expo and Sustainable Route The event parallel to Feicon Batimat showed the importance of thinking about ecology throughout the construction chain, just as Rota Sustentável marked with a seal the exhibitors of the two fairs that have sustainable products and solutions.
