Thinking about a post-pandemic scenario, the project was designed to meet new needs.

The noun "home" has never been as valued as in recent months, since work, leisure and rest have all come together in the same place. Casa Nômade , a project by Marau Design for Janelas CASACOR, Santa Catarina edition , thinks precisely about this current scenario: a clean , cozy, practical, organized space that meets new needs.

Four layouts were created with the same furniture, which are presented to the public over the course of the weeks during the exhibition. The base is fixed: compact houses with a large closet, accompanied by a straight staircase that facilitates access to the bookshelf, incorporating the kitchen into the living room. The stove, sink and refrigerator are permanent elements, very functional and objective.

The furniture is loose, with most of the pieces in shades of gray and off-white, with the exception of the wooden countertop and the black Twiggy lamp. Two pastel green walls bring harmony and the boiseries detail adds sophistication. The plant ornament on top of the cabinet is a highlight.

The house adapts to the user and not the other way around. The furniture set was designed to be practical and hybrid, that is, with multiple functions and light enough to be moved around in different layouts.
