CASACOR Paraná 2019 aims to be green. Not only in terms of color, but in all the ways the word encompasses - close to nature, sustainable, a hue of youth, hope and health. The color washes the walls and gives the space its name,
Verde que Te Quero Verde , inspired by the theme of
CASACOR 2019, Planeta Casa . In 36
m², the space is full of affective memories, and is bathed indirectly by sunlight, with low lighting in the early evening.
Panels and a large dark green bookshelf bring the project to life, framed by light wood in latticework. The contrast between lighter and darker tones ensures sophistication and coziness in the office.
The wooden floor appeals to the vintage style, in the style of old parquet floors in a herringbone pattern, in keeping with the rest of the furniture rescued from an antique shop, with a 19th and 20th century aesthetic and a rural and urban character.
Furthermore, one of the main guiding principles for the project was the use of restored furniture, family pieces, with stories to tell and with the warmth of wood in its natural state. To warm things up, tapestries and fabrics in different colors and textures were arranged on cushions and oriental rugs that flow throughout the space. Once again, the issue of sustainability comes into vogue, with the large Iranian carpet from the 1930s, brought back in a new interpretation, through new washing and pigmentation.
The space is also filled with art objects, ranging from photography to modern art and academicism, in a mix that shows personality. The works were placed a little lower, eliminating the gallery effect and framing the other elements in a harmonious way. Natural and emotional elements were used, such as travel souvenirs, to create a sense of proximity, transforming the work corner into a space linked to well-being, socializing and memories.
