Recognized for their work in modular architecture, Hugo Schwartz and Alexandre Gedeon from
InTown Arquitetura took advantage of the knowledge accumulated at
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016 , when the duo created Living Gourmet, and at the 2019
São Paulo show, when they were responsible for
Loft Mobile ; to give rise to the
Pé Na Areia container, a space that reflects the changes suffered by the house during the pandemic.
The duo's bet for the
CASACOR Window Challenge , the container is the perfect translation of the new habits acquired by residents in the pandemic context. Its modulation was structured based on studies by Intown itself, which investigate ways to better organize lean spaces and move modules without causing damage to coatings and objects.
Here, work, housing and contact with nature are given a poetic reinterpretation, elevated by the new times. On the sand-covered floor, the work table and the steel bed bring comfort to a house that – literally – brings the beach to life. inside. Highlight for the Vera screen, a piece of furniture inspired by the work Aconà Biconbì by Bruno Munari and the patterns of Aloe vera leaves.
The
Challenge is one of the new features of
Janelas CASACOR and works as follows: at the entrance to Shopping D&D, in São Paulo, two containers will be occupied alternately by different architects. The challenge for the professional is to be able to install their environment in just four days and, After the week of exhibition, dismantle it in just two days. In addition to the reduced time, there is one more detail: the new space must use a piece (furniture, lamp, decorative object) used in the previous space.
