CASACOR Sergipe 2026 officially opens its doors to a landmark edition that reaffirms the home as a refuge of affection, sensitivity, and belonging. Set in one of Aracaju's most symbolic venues — the imposing mansion on Avenida Santos Dumont, along the Atalaia waterfront —, the exhibition becomes, until November 29, a grand manifesto on new ways of living, coexisting, and experiencing spaces.

Under the theme Mind and Heart, the sixth edition invites the public to an exercise of pause and introspection. In times when the world's pace demands dynamism, the projects presented counter excess with balance, warmth, and visual and sensory well-being. It is architecture and design taking on their fundamental role of caring for those who inhabit the spaces.
Bringing together 34 projects and 44 professionals — including established names and rising figures from the new generation of architecture, interior design, and landscaping —, the exhibition stands out for its authorial perspective and creative diversity. Each project reflects in-depth research into materials, textures, lighting, and art, resulting in immersive proposals that challenge traditional aesthetics and provoke stimuli at every step.

For the exhibition's directors, Mercês Souza, Gilvan Acciolli, and Rodrigo Fonseca, more than presenting trends, CASACOR Sergipe 2026 proposes a reflection on the home as a space of belonging and connection. "CASACOR is a showcase for Sergipe's creativity and talent. Bringing together different generations around such a current and necessary theme is also a way to value well-being, belonging, and the search for inner balance. In this edition, we celebrate the home as a true space of welcome and transformation," says Mercês Souza.

For Rodrigo Fonseca, this year's exhibition challenged the lineup to transform concepts into concrete experiences. "Each professional had to go beyond aesthetics, researching materials, solutions, and new ways to create projects that engaged with this edition's concept. It is precisely through this creative freedom that a plural CASACOR is born, with authorial projects and different interpretations of contemporary ways of living," he highlights.

The sixth edition also represents the consolidation of a project that has been expanding its presence on the state's cultural and architectural calendar. "Reaching the sixth edition is a source of great satisfaction and shows the strength of a journey built together with the Sergipe public. Each year, we strive to meet the expectations of those who visit the event, offering not only projects with a strong artistic and authorial perspective, but experiences that spark interest, identification, and the desire to stay. It is this diversity that makes CASACOR such a special encounter with the public," notes Gilvan Acciolli.

The visit also offers a cultural and gastronomic experience. Guests are invited to slow down and linger, enjoying dining options at Café Duo, Restaurante Gratto, and Sensi B-side, as well as taking in the rich identity of the Casa do Artesanato Sergipano and the curatorship of the Mário Brito Art Gallery.
