With 110 m², the Renault Living Garage designed by Fábio Pinho and Andréa de Pinho for CASACOR Espírito Santo , which runs until November 8, is a spacious space designed especially for socializing. The living room extends across the covered area and opens for a 300 square meter garden, complete with a carp pond, by landscaper Rose Resende. The gourmet space brings together the design language, which combines a living room and garage, following the challenge proposed to the architects by Renault, the official sponsor of the show, which seeks to combine design and innovation to offer better experiences to people. “The environment was designed to be a Living Garage for a family of young parents and children who enjoy receiving friends and family at home”, explains Fábio .
An often forgotten part of the house, in this project the garage is no longer just a place to store the car and takes on a new concept: that of a space to bring people together. And since the idea is to promote get-togethers, there's nothing better than telling with practicality when cleaning, without sacrificing the refinement of the materials. “We use rustic porcelain flooring that imitates natural stone, but is much easier to maintain,” explains the architect.
The trends are based on the use of gray in the bases, such as floors and walls, light wood in the furniture and black and white colors in the general composition, highlighting the contrasts. Blue appears in works of art, such as in the painting by Teresinha Mazzei , placed above the sofa, and in decorative objects to give the final touch to the palette chosen by Fábio.
Another detail that draws attention is the lighting by Studio Design, specially designed to reinforce the intimate atmosphere of meetings with friends. Some items were highlighted with LED spotlights, such as the paintings and the Renault Duster Oroch pickup truck, the official car of the company. shows. “The pickup truck harmonizes with the space’s proposal of being not only practical, but decorated and with new utilities, such as a living and gourmet area”, adds Fábio. The finishing touch is the copper lamp, installed above the table to function as a large focus of light and color in the environment.
