Until October 12, the historic Casa do Candango, located at 603 Sul, hosts CASACOR Brasília 2026, a showcase of architecture, interior design and landscaping. Under the theme Mind and Heart, this year's event proposes a profound reflection on contemporary living, inviting visitors to slow down in a hyperconnected world and rediscover the home as a physical, emotional and healing refuge.
In its second appearance at the iconic address, the showcase occupies three floors, with 40 innovative projects, signed by a cast composed of 52 professionals, promoting the encounter and vigor of coexistence between veterans and new talents in architecture, interior design and landscaping.

The 34th edition of the showcase is based on the idea that the home is no longer just a place to live. It has become a physical and emotional refuge, an environment of healing, coexistence and well-being. The proposal runs through practically all the projects, which explore neuroarchitecture, biophilia, the appreciation of affective memories, integration between projects and the use of natural materials.
Textures, aromas, indirect lighting, art, music, vegetation, natural materials and signature pieces appear as tools to provoke emotions and belonging, without leaving technology aside. "This year's CASACOR Brasília shows that living well goes beyond aesthetics. The theme 'Mind and Heart' represents projects that combine comfort, innovation and technology at the service of people, creating experiences that care for the body, mind and emotions," defines businesswoman Moema Leão, partner of the showcase alongside Eliane Martins and Sheila Podestá.

"This year the showcase is colorful, cozy, full of life. We will welcome the public with great hospitality at a CASACOR Brasília that instigates reconnection and affection," adds architect Sheila Podestá.
"We have a well-renewed team of professionals, which certainly also brings a certain vigor to the event," says architect and organizer of CASACOR Brasília, Eliane Martins. This vigor is also highlighted by the new features in the program, with courses, lectures and guided tours. "It will be two intense months of much activity. We want to provide a different moment for the public, a new experience at the same location."

The 2026 edition also stands out as a meeting between different generations of Brazilian architecture. Veterans share space with professionals participating in the showcase for the first time. The coexistence between repertoires expands the aesthetic diversity of the showcase and reinforces CASACOR Brasília's vocation as a showcase.
Among the highlights are the CASACOR Brasília veterans, professionals who have contributed to building the history of the showcase over the last decades. Walléria Teixeira, in her 28th participation; Miguel Gustavo, with 25 editions; and Hélio Albuquerque, who adds up to 23 participations, reaffirm the strength of their trajectories in the architecture and design circuit. The experience of George Zardo, participant for more than 20 editions, and of Larissa Dias, who reaches her 17th participation, meets the new generation in partnerships that cross professional and family ties: he alongside his daughter, Julia Zardo, and she, alongside her partner Natália Dias. The list of experienced professionals is completed by Leo Romano, who has 55 participations in CASACOR editions held in different cities in Brazil and abroad.

The 2026 edition also opens space for professionals making their debut at the Brasília showcase. Making their first participation at CASACOR Brasília are:Lucas Nascimento, Natália Luz, Romulo Carvalho (Studio Roque Arquitetura), Ana Luísa Jardim, Ruan Braga and Wilker Alcântara, Edoarda Trombini (Studio Essere), Daniel Mendonça, Chrystian Marques Yamahita (Coloiado Arquitetura e Interiores), Betânia Lima and Macley Oliveira, Matheus Rocha (M Rocha Arquitetura), Bruno Carvalho, Maria Beatriz Carneiro (Estúdio Talha) and Eduardo Abdo (Carbon Arquitetura e Engenharia). The show also marks the debut of Amanda Beatriz, alongside interior designer Aline Silva, who is participating for the second time, and Bárbara Oliveira Queiroz (Estúdio Solo), who joins Gabriel Domingues de Souza, who has been in the show on other occasions.
The lineup is completed by professionals well known to CASACOR Brasília such as Rick Hudson, in his third participation; Eliene Lucindo, also in her third; Alex Claver and Wilker Medeiros (Studio 2 Arquitetura), who reach their sixth participation; in addition to Bruno Pessoa (Studio Ark), Luciana Canalli (On Arquitetura), Palloma Meneghello, Daniele Franco, Lisi Sandri (third participation), Renata Dutra, Juliane Almeida, Daiana Pontes, Alessandra Passero and Didacio Duailibe, Carla Monza and Isabella Souza (Orla Arquitetura), Alessandra Lima Oliveira (Tudo Arquitetura), Giovanna Leal, Angela Feitoza and Maria Carolina Feitoza, Fabiana Boner, Orestes Blanco and Rosa Maranini and Luciano Pena and Vinícius Alano (Três Arquitetura), who reinforce the plurality of styles and experiences of the show.
The 2026 edition strongly focuses on sensory stimuli — textures, aromas, indirect lighting, biophilia and neuroarchitecture — to awaken the feeling of belonging and well-being. This immersive narrative extends to the show's gastronomic route, which features four operations.

Beyond the show concept, CASACOR Brasília invites visitors to live unique experiences, among them, from the gastronomic point of view. Four operations are set up, following the same narrative as the other projects. The Aroma restaurant, led by chef Ronny Peterson and designed by Studio Roque Arquitetura by Rômulo Carvalho, proposes an experience inspired by ancestry and Black culture. The Entre Fluxos coffee shop, operated by Lilie Pâtisserie & Boulangerie, transforms a coffee break into a moment of encounter, with a project by the Bruno Carvalho Arquitetura office.
The Ocelo Bar, which occupies the space developed by Orestes Blanco and Rosa Maranini, recreates the sophisticated atmosphere of the speakeasies of the 1920s, based on a project inspired by the Latin-Oriental fusion. The operation will be by CO/RE, born from the partnership between Fernando Zeta, bartender who built his career in São Paulo and Goiânia, and chef Yago Ferreira (A Casa do Porco), who has taken part in editions of CASACOR Goiás.

Sustainability is embedded in the show's planning. With centralized waste management, the event seeks to achieve 99.7% of material valorization – the rate required to obtain the Zero Waste certification – with reuse and allocation of materials to social organizations. In several projects, sustainability and architecture go hand in hand. Architects and designers propose solutions such as the use of dry construction, certified woods, recyclable materials, steel produced in a circular economy, reuse of natural stones and demolition tiles, low-environmental-impact coatings, LED lighting and ecological floors.
The appreciation of native landscaping also reinforces this commitment. Several projects favor Cerrado species, reducing water consumption and strengthening regional identity. In other spaces, furniture produced by Brazilian artisans, signature design pieces, and repurposed materials demonstrate the union between sophistication and environmental responsibility. Another sustainable commitment of the exhibition is the development of projects with 100% accessibility, ensuring an inclusive experience throughout the entire exhibition.

With the proposal of also being a space for experiences, the exhibition presents a robust agenda of hands-on activities, technology debates, guided immersions, and musical performances throughout its two months. The program's new features reinforce this year's theme, Mind and Heart, connecting the sensitivity of handmade craftsmanship with the most modern discussions about the future of living.
The exhibition holds six creative workshops between August 27 and October 9. Visitors will be able to experiment with artisanal techniques guided by renowned artists and designers. Registrations must be made directly through the CASACOR Brasília platform. The program includes Free Embroidery, led by fashion designer Keyla Beatriz Pires Leal, with stitches inspired by the exhibition's theme; Glass Painting, taught by Vívia Lima Ferreira, focusing on the personalization of glasses; Watercolor, under the command of artist Mirian Lindgren, and Fabric Printing (Block Print), developed by designer Lorene Oliveira Neves. Porcelain Painting, a practical class with visual artist Clara Helena Vivian Rosa and Ceramic Modeling, a workshop given by ceramist Mariana Franco da Silveira Sturzenegger, are part of the program.

In partnership with the Somus Group, CASACOR Brasília hosts a cycle of six weekly meetings focused on Artificial Intelligence. The lectures take place on Tuesdays, from 6 pm to 8 pm, between August 25 and September 29.
The debates address the use of AI in project development, creative processes, digital tools, storytelling, and personal branding, discussing how technology can enhance management without replacing human sensitivity.

For those seeking a deep immersion, interior designer Lania Lacorte leads Guided Technical Tours. The proposal reveals the stories, concepts, engineering solutions, and material choices behind the projects. Lasting 3 hours and with groups limited to 35 participants, the editions open to the general public take place on August 18 and 26, and September 8 and 23, upon prior registration. The initiative also includes exclusive schedules for universities, developers, companies, and class entities.
For 34 years, CASACOR Brasília has been a reference in architecture, interior design, and landscaping, driving business, connecting professionals, and presenting the main market trends. The exhibition has consolidated itself as a strategic space for brands and a stage for innovation.
Architects Eliane Martins and Sheila Podestá have a long history with the exhibition in the city, having participated as guest professionals in 1994 with the Master Bedroom. Later, in 2000, they joined Abadia Teixeira and Catarina Bastos – the duo that inaugurated the exhibition both in Brasília and in Goiás – in the administration of CASACOR in the two locations. Two years later, they fully took over the two franchises in the Central-West region. Businesswoman Moema Leão joined Martins and Podestá in 2001 to contribute to the exhibition's public success, one of the most visited in the country.
