Urban and cozy: discover the Cosmopolitan loft at CASACOR SC | Itapema

A mix of shapes and textures complement each other in a unique environment: the Cosmopolitan loft , created by architect Bia Kestering for CASACOR Santa Catarina - Itapema 2024. In her second participation in CASACOR 's exhibitions, the professional filled the almost 150 m² of the environment with elements that evoke the citizens of the world: that is, those beings who adapt in search of their place on the planet. “The urban lifestyle can bring inspiration and creativity to residents, but it can also become a safe and cozy refuge. Our concept was to bring these two situations together in the same place,” explains the architect. The project's exposed concrete ribbed ceiling reinforces the urban and sustainable principles conceived for the project. By opting for a color palette where shades of gray, black and white contrast with striking greens and reds, the space sought to avoid off-white trends in order to highlight the urbanity : “We created an intelligent integration where visitors can feel the atmosphere of an urban loft,” says Bia. It is this integration that visitors to the exhibition find at first glance. In the gourmet area, almost like a trademark, there is a huge island carved in Salvatore marble, made by Viagranito. The built-in champagne cooler, also carved, completes the effect of the piece.

In the arts area, Bia invited the artist Franciane Maggio, who created the works Verde Nebuloso, Manto Cinzento and Sussurros de Merlot especially for the exhibition — matching the concept of the loft. There is also the painting Subconciência, by Cristyan Pontes. In the master suite , the Serrat bed in natural leather, designed by Santa Catarina designer Bruno Faucz, invites residents to enjoy moments of rest and relaxation . And fully integrated into the bedroom, the Cosmopolitan loft's bathroom is another focal point of the project. There, in front of a greenish marble wall, lies a curved black bathtub accompanied by Deca metals, "showing luxury in the simplest forms", says the architect.
