Our Retreat, by Larissa Dias, is inspired by nature and the pleasure of being in open spaces close to it. With 128m2, the projects bring coziness, charm, and poetry. The place, integrated and multifunctional, has relaxation as its focus. Stone and wood, in their raw forms, blend with green in some furniture and decorations. At the entrance, a hammock area with hammocks attached to logs of wood, supported by the pebble floor, making an analogy to trees. On the ceiling, a tensioned screen as lighting, which refers to the light of the sky. The architect used the concept of Biophilia, which reconnects people with the natural projects, reducing the environmental impact of the built world. On the floor, beige cement slabs refer to sand. Irregular surfaces sharpen the curiosity of touch and generate interaction. Puffs, blankets, and cushions woven in raffia, leathers, and fibers add charm to the space.
